The commitment stays flexible: at the halfway point you just let us know if you'd like to continue. From a first cartwheel to Level 10 on bars, every class follows the same Gotham 360° philosophy and skill progression, whether your child is in a beginner class or training for nationals. Whenever school isn't in session kids learn skills, jump on our trampolines, leap into our foam pit, and swing on our bars all while learning real gymnastics from our coaches. COLLEGE GYMNASTS Since 2019, Gotham athletes have qualified for Regional and National Championships, the Nastia Liukin Cup, and Elite National Qualifiers — and gone on to compete in college, including at NCAA Division I programs. Founded by coaches and parents with 50+ years of experience, Gotham Gymnastics is New York's gym for every gymnast, from first cartwheel to college recruit. Brooklyn's gym for every kind of gymnast, from first cartwheel to college recruit. One approach to the whole athlete, built by coaches: Gotham 360°. Gotham Gymnastics was founded by coaches and parents who wanted a different model, one that puts the athlete first, not just their scores. We coach the whole person: body, mind, and the kid standing in front of us. Together with our advisors, we're working to make gymnastics safer and more inspiring than it's ever been. Every program runs on Gotham 360°™ (formerly The Complete Athlete) Gotham 360°™ is our own system of coaching, developed at Gotham, that goes beyond technique to develop the whole gymnast. It centers on eight components: Gymnastics: the foundation of technique, strength, and skill progression. Athletic Performance: speed, power, and conditioning. Mental Performance: focus, nerves, and confidence under pressure. Nutrition: fueling growing athletes. Physical Therapy: staying healthy and recovering well. Medical Support: care when athletes need it. Enrichment: growth beyond the gym. Family Support: because gymnastics is a family commitment. It's the same approach whether your child is in their first Gotham Kids class or training Level 10. Across our two Brooklyn locations on Douglass Street you'll find competition grade vault, bars, beam, and floor, plus a foam pit, and trampolines, the same equipment our team athletes train on, open to every class. Our second location opened in summer 2024, doubling the space for Brooklyn's gymnasts. We take athleticism, sportsmanship, discipline, and personal bests seriously, while still letting kids be kids. Meet Our Team CO-FOUNDERS Daniel Miranda Co-Founder / CEO / Head Coach Ana Nunes Co-Founder / Executive Team Director Daniel and Ana have more than 50 years of combined experience coaching athletes in the US and internationally, including USAG Developmental State champions, Regional and National champions, and Tops/Hopes Athletes. Daniel holds a BA PE and Sports Science from Estácio de Sá, Brazil. Ana holds a BA and Licensed Teacher degree in PE and Sports Science from Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Both are also accomplished athletes in their own right. Daniel was an international martial artist, while Ana is a former gymnast who represented Team Brazil in Germany (1995), Sweden (1999) and was ranked the number one Brazilian athlete in 1998. As parents, coaches and athletes themselves, Daniel and Ana understand the value of putting the well-being of the gymnast first. They have used their combined talents and business acumen to bring that focus to training programs at Gotham Gymnastics. FAQ COMMON QUESTIONS REGISTRATION TIPS BILLING Is there a sibling discount if I enroll more than one child? Yes! We offer a 10% sibling discount for each additional child enrolled in our programs. What's the length of each session at Gotham Gymnastics? Our season is split into two *20-week sessions:Session 1: September - JanuarySession 2: February - JuneAuto-enrollment happens on November 1st for Session 2. *Thursday classes will have only 19 weeks in Session 1 When will coaches be assigned to classes for next season? Coaches are assigned to classes closer to the start of the season as it is too early for the coaches to know their exact schedules. We recommend registering for the class that works best for you with your schedule.
